wandering around, hunting the gloomiest bus stop possible, I literally ended up in Verlorenort (Lost Place) in Brandenburg.

In my photographic series 'Verlorenort', I explore the quiet solitude of bus stops at night. Each image captures a single illuminated shelter, standing isolated in the darkness, bathed only in the artificial glow of its own light. These spaces, designed for transition and movement, take on an eerie stillness when deserted, evoking a sense of absence, of waiting, and a feeling between unease and security.
